Linday Lohan seems to have a soft spot for Marilyn Monroe. Three years after posing nude for a Marilyn-inspired New York magazine photo shoot, Lohan has ditched her clothes for a pictorial in the January/February issue of Playboy that will pay homage to Monroe's iconic 1949 nude pictorial in the first-ever issue of Hugh Hefner's gentlemen's magazine.
The bare photos are "very classy," Hefner, 85, tells The Insider. "It's a classic tribute inspired by the original Tom Kelly nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe, a portion of which was the original playmate which was in the original issue of Playboy," he adds.
Lohan, 25, was released from jail over the weekend after serving just four hours of her 30-day sentence. The actress has had a very troubled past few years, and her representative tells People that Playboy's accompanying interview with Lindsay will be just as revealing as her photo spread.
"The pictorial is absolutely fantastic and very tasteful," her rep says, "and will be accompanied by an interview that will let readers see another side of Lindsay."
