Lindsay Lohan recently pulled the plug on her schedule sitdown with Barbara Walters -- but she's not opposed to all interviews. The starlet went on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to explain why she'd backed away from the much-anticipated televised Q&A.
On the Nov. 20 episode of The Tonight Show, Leno brought up the fact that Lohan had decided to cancel her 20/20 interview.
"The timing wasn't right right now," Lohan told Jay. "I love her, I'm a big fan of Barbara Walters. I met her when I was very young. When it's right, she knows she'll be the first person I sit down with."
When Leno good-naturedly asked a follow-up about whether Lohan, 26, had spoken to Walters directly, LiLo, who's promoting her new television biopic Liz & Dick, explained: "It's all good," Lohan insisted. "I spoke to the people that she works with and everything, so..."
Then Leno commented on the fact that it seems there's a new tabloid story about Lohan every day, to which she replied, "I feel like that's the question every time I come here, it's always the same!"
"That's why we have you here all the time," Leno declared.
The affable host even showed her some wacky headlines about her, like professed virgin Tim Tebow proclaiming "I Lost It to Lindsay Lohan" -- whom Lohan stresses she's never met before -- and a story about Lohan's plans to adopt Honey Boo Boo.
"All my friends always talk about Honey Boo Boo and I've never actually seen the show," she said, giggling. "I just know what I hear, but that is just so funny! What is that picture from?!"
"Well, that was when you were going to adopt her," Leno cracked.
"Oh, that's true, that's right. I forgot about the adoption, too," she said.
