Lindsay Lohan's attorney tells Eyewitness News that the 25-year-old actress is "fine" after reportedly being found unconscious in her penthouse room at the Ritz-Carlton in Marina del Rey, Calif., Friday morning.
The initial report, which broke via Los Angeles' KABC-7 TV's Twitter feed, stated that "Lindsay Lohan was taken to hospital" after being found unconscious, but the Los Angeles County Fire Department says that's not the case.
"We received a call at 10:15 this morning at 4375 Admiralty Way in Marina Del Rey," a fire department spokesman said in a statement. "We received a call about an unconscious person possibly in their 20s. The person was evaluated at the scene and not transported at the hospital."
"As I understand it, she was exhausted, after shooting non-stop for 2 days," Lohan's lawyer Shawn Holly told Eyewitness News of the actress, who's currently filming the Lifetime movie Liz & Dick. "Someone called paramedics, for reasons which are unclear. They determined that she was fine."
Lindsay's publicist Steve Honig concurs. "Lindsay worked a grueling schedule the past few days. She was on set last night at 7 p.m. and worked through the night until 8 a.m. this morning," Honig said in a statement. "She took a nap before shooting her final scene. Producers were concerned when she did not come out of her room and called paramedics as a precaution."
Honig added that Lohan was checked out by paramedics and was deemed fine, aside from "some exhaustion and dehydration." He said that she was resting and would be back on the telefilm's set later today. We bet she'll think better of taking another nap, though!
