She really really can't catch a break.
When Lindsay Lohan arrived to the courthouse on Monday, you could tell she had made an effort. True, she was a good 45 minutes late, but she had clearly put that extra time to good use. She was dressed in a polished white-and-pink top and white skinny pants. Her strawberry-blonde hair was curled and styled -- and even behind her giant sunglasses, we could tell she had applied natural-looking makeup.
But all that changed when an onlooker threw a handful of glitter at LiLo as she walked toward the doors. (Perhaps it was the same person who flour bombed Kim Kardashian last year?)

The starlet remained calm as she made her way through the silver cloud -- but when she was later seen in the courtroom (top right), her appearance had drastically changed.
Of course, we can't be sure what happened -- but our guess is that Lindsay made a frantic attempt to wash the glitter off her face and out of her hair before sitting in front of the judge. The result left her looking a bit like a drowned rat. Combine that with the fact that Lindsay was clearly upset by her sentence (90 days of locked-down rehab), and we're guessing these are photos she never wants to see again.
