After a six-year hiatus, Lindsay Lohan hosted Saturday Night Live for the fourth time this weekend -- and it proved not only a ratings boon for the late-night comedy series, but also a night of memorable sketches.
There was a ton of buzz surrounding LiLo's hosting gig, with many people calling it the 25-year-old's big comeback. And in the end, all of the publicity paid off. It was one of highest-rated episodes of the season, second only to Charles Barkley's January episode, which followed the NFL playoffs.
As for Lohan's performance, it was a mixed bag. She gamely poked fun at herself, doing skits about her rehab and jail stints and making jokes about her sobriety. But she stumbled through many of her lines, and some of her sketches were a little lackluster.
But one sketch that did receive big laughs was a pre-recorded fake commercial for Bravo's newest edition of the Real Housewives franchise: Real Housewives of Disney. Starring Rapunzel (Lohan), Snow White (Vanessa Bayer), Belle (Abby Elliott), Jasmine (Nasim Pedrad) and a boozy Cinderella (Kristen Wiig), the five Disney Princesses shared secrets and traded catty barbs.
At Rapunzel's castle-warming party, things immediately got off to a bad start when Cinderella announced she had chosen a new charity to support: "Ladies, I'm starting a charity to help raise money for dwarves, because they need our help, because they're not real people."
Snow White told the confessional interview cam, "I can't believe she said that. Dwarves are my thing! And they're not real people? She said that right in front of Doc!"
A wine-chugging Cinderella then introduced her husband Prince Charming, whom the other housewives could tell was secretly gay.
"Here's some good advice: Never marry a guy who's really into shoes," Cinderella slurred.
