"I just want to be on set again, and left alone to just work!" the 24-year-old actress posted on her Twitter account Thursday. "Fyi- i would never steal, in case people are wondering. I was not raised to lie, cheat or steal."
The Mean Girls star appeared in a Los Angeles court on Wednesday for her arraignment, where her probation was revoked and she was released on $40,000 bail. The actress entered a not guilty plea and hopes to make a deal.
"Ms. Lohan maintains her innocence, and now that I've seen the police reports, I believe the case is entirely defensible," the starlet's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley said. "Having said that, we will entertain a discussion concerning a plea if it means no jail so that she can move forward with her recovery and her career."
As for the criticism about the tight, white dress Lohan wore to the courthouse, she says her outfit should not be a factor in her legal drama.
"What i wear to court shouldn't be front page news," she posted. "It's just absurd. god bless xox L."
Though Lohan hadn't specifically addressed the case before Thursday, she did give a shout-out to Dr. Drew Pinsky right after her trial on Wednesday.
When most of the world was criticizing LiLo, Dr. Drew actually defended her. "I a mortified how @Lindsaylohan is getting attacked when she is so fragile and just establishing her sobriety," he twittered on Feb. 9. "Not at all what she needs."
Happy to have an ally, Lohan quickly responded: "@drdrew thank you for your support.. I appreciate it."
