Just when we thought Lindsay Lohan had finally turned over a new leaf, it seems she may have gotten herself in trouble again. She's been doing her best to behave while she's been on probation -- but, according to reports, Lohan may have committed a hit and run.
It all started a little after midnight on Wednesday, when Lohan, 25, was trying to leave the Sayers Club in Hollywood in her new Porsche. As she was pulling out of the parking lot, a bunch of paparazzi swarmed her in front of a nearby Hookah Lounge. In her struggle to leave the lot and avoid the cameras, Lohan reportedly hit the manager of the Hookah Lounge and then left the scene.
TMZ reports that cops investigated the issue and determined that no one was injured in the incident, so it's "case closed." However, sources tell the gossip site that the 26-year-old manager has now checked himself into the emergency room and is planning to hire an attorney and press charges.
At the time of the accident, witnesses say the club manager said he was uninjured and also didn’t know who Lohan was. It wasn't until after he found out about her celebrity status that he started saying he was hurt.
This could mean bad news for Lohan, who is in the process of staging a comeback. If the event is deemed a hit-and-run, it could be counted as a violation of her probation that she received for her shoplifting incident.
"I regret the choices that I've made, but I'm grateful for where I am today because of them," Lohan said in a recent interview with Matt Lauer. "I don't need to see any more negative stuff. I don't need to put myself in those places any more."
She also told Lauer that she's a "homebody" now and is no longer interested in the club scene. Did she change her mind on Wednesday night?
