Before the police intervened in Lindsay Lohan's fight with her mother Dina, the actress called her father Michael to plea for help. TMZ obtained and distributed the tape of that phone call -- in which Lindsay claims Dina is on drugs -- and it's a frightening glimpse into the Lohan family's depths of dysfunction.

Lindsay and Dina's spat allegedly took place after a long night of mother-daughter clubbing. The dispute reportedly began over their limousine: Lindsay wanted to take it back to her Manhattan hotel, and Dina wanted to get a ride back to her Long Island home. You'd think the chauffeur could have just dropped Lindsay off first, but somehow, Dina won out. The fight continued until they arrived on Long Island, which is when the police were called.
The phone call released by TMZ took place during the limo ride. Lindsay, hysterical, can be heard pleading to her father, with Dina occasionally yelling in the background. Most of the context is lost, but a few of Lindsay's accusations come through loud and clear. Dina, Lindsay says, is on cocaine and threatening her, saying "disgusting things." Lindsay tells her father she has a "gash on her leg" from their fight, and she seems terrified of her mother.
"I'm supposed to go home, and I'm afraid she's going to do the same s*** that I was describing to you, arrest me like she did to you," Lindsay tells her father. "We had a fight...She just said I'm dead, I'm dead to her now."
In the background, Dina can be heard saying, "That's right, you're dead to me."
"She's like the f***ing devil right now," Lindsay fumes to her father.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the Liz & Dick actress reveals that she gave Dina a $40,000 loan to prevent foreclosure on her home. "I asked her to give it back and she's like you're sick, you don't give me anything," says Lindsay. (A man reportedly appeared at the house to serve Dina with foreclosure papers shortly after they arrived at home.)
Though the police (called by Michael) were waiting for the mother and daughter at their home, no arrests were made. "It was an argument between Lindsay Lohan and her mother," a police spokeswoman told the New York Daily News. "The police responded, and no further police action was taken. There were no injuries and no complaints followed. There is nothing else we can do."
