Uh-oh -- it looks like the apple doesn't fall too far from the Lohan tree!
Lindsay Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan, was arrested Thursday night in Long Island, N.Y., for speeding, as well as driving while under the influence.
Driving 77 mph in a 55 mph zone, New York State troopers pulled the momager over and discovered that she had a blood-alcohol level of .20 -- more than twice the legal limit. They arrested her on the spot.
According to officials, Lohan "made an allegation that she was injured during the course of the arrest," TMZ reports. The police then called an amubulance to examine her.
However, "when emergency personnel arrived and evaluated Lohan, there were no injuries and she recanted her claim," New York State Police said.
Lohan was booked on two counts of driving while intoxicated and one count of speeding. Her arraignment is Sept. 24.
The incident comes just a month and a half after daughter Lindsay completed a 90-day stay at Cliffside Malibu rehab center -- her sixth stint in a treatment facility. And while Lindsay insists her parents have been given a "bad rap" by the media, incidents like this prove Dina is not exactly a great role model for her daugher. With Lindsay now clean and sober, hopefully her mother's bad habits -- and anyone else's dangerous influences -- don't hinder her progress.
