Weird Etsy Find of the Week: Lipstick Sculptures of Lady Gaga, Princess Di and Dozens More Celebs

And we thought playing with color on our faces was fun

Sure, they ring up at several hundred dollars a pop — but these are no ordinary tubes of lipstick. Created by Hong Kong make-up and multimedia artist May Sum, the meticulously hand-sculpted objects immortalize fashion’s most iconic women, from Lady Gaga to Anna Wintour. Sum sculpts her figurines using the brands YSL, Max Factor, Nars, Estee Lauder and M.A.C exclusively, according to the Daily Mail and sells the finished works in her Etsy shop, Wahahafactory. Each lipstick lady takes two weeks to create. Behold.

This is a classic look for Lady Gaga, instantly recognizable by the sculpted bow hair and round sunnies.

Marilyn Monroe

Clad in the halter dress from The Seven Year Itch, lipstick screen queen Marilyn flashes a knowing smile.

Princess Diana

Before there was Kate, Princess Di captured the hearts of millions with her fragile beauty. The hue of her tiny sculpture looks quite regal and princess appropriate.

Victoria Beckham

The designer, style icon and former Posh Spice (zig-ah zig-ah!) is rendered in pale plum, which matches the beauty's somewhat icy demeanor.

Twiggy

This squeal-worthy rendering perfectly captures the model’s iconic lashes and elfin beauty.

Model, icon and now, lipstick sculpture.

Coco Chanel

This work gives a nod to Coco's origins as a milliner, which led to a lifelong hat addiction (there are worse things to be addicted to).

Anna Wintour

We'd know that bob anywhere. Everything about this little sculpture screams "don't mess with the queen." We won't.

Audrey Hepburn

The topknot. The cat eyes. You can't mistake this bright pink lipstick for anyone other than Audrey.

Bjork

Capturing Bjork as she looked on the cover of her biggest album, Homogenic, the artist makes a statement in pearlescent brown. We don't know what that statement is, but it's been made.
