Who says you can't go home?
Former View cohost Lisa Ling will be returning to her old stomping grounds, when she sits in on the chatfest on October 5 and 6.
ABC announced Thursday that the journalist, who left The View in 2002 after three years, will join Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd, Joy Behar, and Whoopi Goldberg on the panel. Lisa will be subbing for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, as the new mom continues her maternity leave.
No doubt Lisa will have a ton to share with the ladies, as her sister, Laura Ling, was finally released from captivity last month, after being held in a North Korean prison for almost five months.
