Certain topics will always rouse a heated response from people, like politics or religion -- or, if you live in Hollywood, Kate Hudson's alleged breast implants. When recent photos of the Oscar-nominated actress surfaced, fellow celebs just couldn't keep their opinions to themselves about what appeared to be a subtle cosmetic enhancement.
Lisa Rinna, who dissed Heidi Montag's excessive plastic surgery (but apologized soon after), is currently Hudson's biggest supporter. "I think everyone needs to do whatever they need to do to make themselves feel good," Rinna, 46, told UsMagazine.com about Hudson. "And it's nobody’s business!"
But the love pretty much stopped there. About the recent Hudson photos, Montag's husband Spencer Pratt rudely mused, "How is it possible to get breast implants and still not have breasts?" Ah, Spencer -- such a sensitive guy!
Supermodel Paulina Porizkova wasn't a fan of Hudson's alleged alterations (or Montag's or Madonna's), though she was more eloquent on the topic than Pratt. "I used to use (Hudson) as an example of the perfect beauty with a small chest," Porizkova, 45, recently blogged. "Now, with her new boobs, she just looks like any California blond actress. Instead of enhancing, she has diminished herself."
Porizkova went on to say she was "heartbroken" about Hudson, but acknowledged, "If big boobs make her happier, then more power to her." She also wrote that her big issue wasn't with Hudson, per se, but a larger philosophy in our culture: "This fixing something perfect to something else perfect, is so much a sign of our times, and one that truly saddens me."
