The kids at school are picking on Lisa Simpson again. Luckily, Michelle Obama (voiced by Oscar winner Angela Bassett) is on her way to town to smooth things over. Yep, it's just another ordinary day in Springfield. Hey, anything can happen on The Simpsons (Sunday, 8 p.m. ET)!
As for little Lisa, she may be intellectually advanced for an 8-year-old, what with her proficiency in languages, her mastery of baritone sax, and her 156 IQ. (Oh, and she's spelling bee champ, too.) But that's no reason for other third graders to ostracize her! Surely, Mrs. Obama will sympathize -- she was a lot like Lisa once, garnering straight A's and accepting her status as a nerd. And with Lisa's lefty politics, she'll no doubt appreciate the chance to meet the First Lady.
In this weekend's episode of the Fox series, comedian Sarah Silverman voices Nikki, a classmate who flirts with Bart but eventually leads him to swear off women forever. Bart presumably isn't fond of Michelle Obama, who's all about exercise and healthy eating for kids (he is, after all, a kid who lives on gum and Squishees from Kwik-E-Mart). Like we said, just an ordinary day in Springfield!
Plus: D'oh! The Simpsons Has Been on TV for 20 Years Already?
