Being a mom is a full-time job. And when you combine that with the demands of work, volunteering and keeping up with your far-flung family, what do you do? You go wireless, of course. We talked to five busy moms who went wireless, and found out how living the unplugged life gives them more free time -- and less stress.

How I stay connected:
I currently use a Dell Axim X30 Pocket PC. I just bought it at the end of September, and I'm already in love. Since I love gadgets, I get quite a few electronics newsletters from PC World, Tech TV and Lockergnome, and saw a review of the Pocket PC. It was at that moment that I knew I had to have it.
How it makes my life easier:
Since I do my work on the computer, the Pocket PC enables me to be in another room while working. It's small enough to throw in my pocketbook when I need to run out quickly. It also comes in handy when I need to be reminded to do something or go somewhere. I'm one of those out-of-sight-out-of-mind people, so having something that beeps at me helps tremendously! Food shopping is easier because I can create shopping lists and check off the items as I get them. I'm still fooling around with it, but I can already tell it's going to make organizing my life much easier.
Teaching my son:
He has his own PC on the home network, but he isn't allowed online without me. He is one smart cookie, though -- he's already figured out that my Pocket PC responds to taps on the screen. I think I have a little gadget geek on my hands!
My wireless wish list:
There are so many devices out there! I would love an iPod just because they're cool-looking. I'm dying to get TiVo simply because you can program it from the computer. I think the Bluetooth wireless headsets are awesome and would be so much easier to use in the car. I'm currently looking into getting a multimedia player, which would allow me to access videos, pictures and music on my PC hard drive through my home theater system.
