Decked out in Halston, Liza Minelli closed the show on a high note with her rendition of "New York, New York" in 2008. As the audience rose to their feet, the award-winning entertainer (three Tonies, two Emmies, two Golden Globes and a Grammy, but who's counting?) supported heart disease awareness by her participation in the Red Dress Fashion Show. She has also dedicated a significant amount of time to amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. It's clear, Minelli has a heart of gold.
