Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have turned their powerful marriage into a powerful family, with son Jaden taking over the big screen and daughter Willow rocking the pop charts. But it all started in 1990, when Jada auditioned for -- and lost! -- the part of Will's girlfriend on his sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. When Will's first marriage ended in 1995, he and Jada realized that they'd been meant for each other all along. The couple (left, in 1996; right, in 2011) credited their 15-year marriage to total honesty. "You don't know about all the walls you build up in your mind and heart until someone comes along and tears them down," Will said in 1996. "Outside of my mother, Jada's the first person with whom I can share what I think and what I feel so freely."
