Let's be frank, gentlemen: Creating life is amazing, but the bulk of the actual birthing process is bloody, gooey and, quite often, a holy mess. Bossy delivery-room nurses will encourage you to "touch the head" or gawk at your child while he/she enters the world. If you don't think you can handle it, just say no. It's better not to look than it is to have your wife catch you with a grimace on your face.
