Baseball Starting Pitcher Killed in Hit-and-Run

So awful.

A starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Angels was killed last night, after pitching an awesome game for his team.

According to TMZ.com, Nick Adenhart's Mitsubishi rammed into a light pole, after a minivan plowed through a red light and hit the baseball player's car. The driver fled the scene but was later found by cops.

Three people were killed in the crash, including the 22-year-old- pitcher, who had just pitched six scoreless innings. One of the other victims was said to be affiliated with the Angels organization, as well.

Such a tragedy.
