The Real Housewives of Orange County star Lynne Curtin isn't afraid to show viewers who she really is -- even if that means allowing cameras to watch her go under the knife in a recent episode of the hit Bravo show. "I've gotta keep it real. This is what I did. I'm not ashamed to tell everybody," the 52-year-old reality star tells iVillage about getting plastic surgery. "I feel like I'm still me. I have the face I probably had maybe 10 or 12 years ago."
Curtin is just as candid about her less-than-strict parenting style, which has earned her criticism from the other Housewives. Conceding that she needs to be "tougher and stricter" with daughters Raquel, 19, and Alexa, 17, the jewelry designer admits with a laugh: "I just let my girls walk all over me, so I need some lessons in parenting, probably."
On the Real Housewives, Curtin is content to play the role of mediator. "I hope I am -- I'd like to be," she says. And even though she's been on the receiving end of the other ladies' cattiness, she doesn't hold a grudge. "I guess I'm going senile or something because I forget everything," Curtin says. "The next day I'm over it. I get mad for a brief time and I move on."
