Macaulay Culkin will be forever etched in our memory as that energetic and rascally kid from Home Alone. But he's hardly a kid anymore. And at 31, he's looking… rather scrawny.
Entertainment Tonight obtained a photo of the actor looking scruffy and gaunt while drinking a Red Bull in New York City Feb. 8, and speculated that Mac might be suffering from some kind of illness.
But according to Culkin's people, the guy's just got a slim build. "Macaulay Culkin is in perfectly good health," his rep said in a statement Thursday. "For Entertainment Tonight -- or any other media outlet -- to speculate otherwise is reckless, irresponsible and destructive. We implore them to discontinue the rumor."
Hmmm. Sounds like someone doesn't take kindly to the media's concern for his health! Then again, it can't be fun to hear that people are publicly wondering if you are "on the Demi Moore diet."
Culkin has endured more than his share of trouble over the years, ranging from alleged drug use and family tensions to public breakups (with Rachel Miner and then Mila Kunis). He even had to weather the death of his sister Dakota in 2008. Let's hope he's taking care of himself, and drinking more nutrient-rich drinks than Red Bull.
