Madonna: My House Is Like a Benetton Ad

Madonna graces the cover of the new Rolling Stone, and the magazine takes a look back at the 51-year-old's mesmerizing career.

While recounting the successes and failures (were there any?) of her career, Madge also opened up about the hardships of marriage and divorce, calling her split from Guy Ritchie "challenging...I'm very grateful that I had work to do. I may have thrown myself off a building."

The Material Girl says she's finding it tough to have to share her children this time around, as sons David, 5, and Rocco, 8, have been spending time with their dad in London.

"Life is an adjustment," she notes. "My sons aren't with me right now, they're with their father, and I'm not very comfortable with the idea of my children not living together." The boys' sisters are Lourdes, 13, who's dad is Madge's ex Carlos Leon, and Mercy, 3, who Madonna adopted from Africa after the divorce.

"My like house is like a Benetton ad," Madonna joked about her multi-cultural family and staff. "I have French nannies, my security guards are Israeli, I have assistants from Argentina and Puerto Rico as well as a Japanese assistant and chef, and another chef from Italy. It's wonderful. I love it."

Madonna recently released a greatest hits album, Celebration, which debuted at #7 on the Billboard charts, and, if the last 25 years of her career is any indication, Madonna will have enough smash songs to put out another before we know it.
