Madonna Rates Her 'Glee' Tribute Episode: 'It's Brilliant'

The Material Girl has screened (for the very first time!) the episode inspired by her music, and "genius" is her verdict

As we all count the minutes until Tuesday night's premiere of the all-Madonna episode of Glee, the Material Girl has already gotten a chance to screen her tribute episode -- and she says that it thrilled her!

"I thought the Madonna episode of Glee was brilliant on every level," the music icon told UsMagazine.com in a statement. "The dialogue and the entire script was genius. I completely appreciated the layers of irony, especially when all those macho boys sang 'What It Feels Like For a Girl.' I also loved the fantastic performances of 'Vogue,' 'Express Yourself' and all the messages about the boys being respectful to girls."

"The entire cast was amazing," Madge continued. "They're all so talented. I especially loved Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) and Kurt Hummel's (Chris Colfer) characters. [Show creator] Ryan Murphy did a great job bringing all these elements together."

Also a fan of the Fox sensation's "Power of Madonna" episode? The singer's daughter Lourdes!

"Lola loved the show too. I wish I went to a high school like that...If only."

The great thing is, you know if Madonna didn't think the Glee kids did her music justice, she would have no qualms about saying so -- which only makes us that much more excited for Tuesday's episode!
