Make a Pillow Cover

Wish I could: Make a Pillow Cover

How to get started: Don’t know how to use a sewing machine? So what -- you can still make an eye-catching throw pillow cover using budget-friendly cloth napkins. For this great beginner-appropriate project, cut one napkin down the exact middle. Seal the seam using fusible web, a hot iron, and moist washcloth on both sides of the napkin. Layer the seams with the pattern side facing up, and layer the other full napkin on top, so both pattern sides are facing each other. (They will be inside out.) With the fusible web, use the iron and washcloth to attach the napkins together. Trim excess fabric -- and you’re done.

What you’ll need: two cloth napkins, fusible web, moist washcloth, scissors, iron
