chime in nowWhy We Love Him: Always dapper and daring, the Oscar-winning George Clooney is known as much for his smart politicking as he is for his smart career choices, like 2009’s Up In the Air, which earned him his third Oscar nod. Even though Clooney looks great on camera, he spends a lot of time behind it. Not only does he costar with Ryan Gosling in Ides of March (which premieres on Oct. 7), but he also directed the film and cowrote the screenplay.
Silver Lining: Now 50, Clooney’s been working the gray hair since he was 33 -- and ever the guy’s guy, he couldn’t be bothered to cover it up. "I'm old. I’m comfortable with getting older because it’s better than the other option, which is being dead," he told Britain’s Daily Mirror. "It’s an interesting thing to be able to watch yourself grow older on screen. I was watching Up In the Air and I thought, 'Jesus, who’s the old, grey-haired guy?' And it was me. I never wear makeup for movies and now it’s starting to show." Well, Clooney might think he's showing signs of aging, but he can still reei in the young ladies -- his most recent ladylove is 31-year-old, leggy blonde Stacy Keibler.
