Mamma Mia! When a Celeb's Choice Whether to Have Children Goes Public

When it comes to the decision of whether -- or when -- to have babies, the most intrusive thing that most women have to deal with is mom and dad nagging them about grandchildren. This, however, is not the case for female celebrities whose choices and opinions on procreating have made headlines and become media fodder. Can't a famous girl catch a break when it comes to matters of the womb?

It's no surprise to see Fox News commentator Bill O'Reilly's name linked to controversy -- it's just a bit unusual when the controversy surrounds a Hollywood starlet like Jennifer Aniston. "Women are realizing it more and more knowing that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child," Aniston said while promoting The Switch, her new film about a woman who is artificially inseminated. A furious O'Reilly then called Aniston "destructive to our society" for her alternative view on parenting and family, and went on to defend the honor of men and fathers everywhere. Aniston fired back, telling People magazine, "Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth... but for those who've not yet found their Bill O'Reilly, I'm just glad science has provided a few other options."
