The hardest part about making this simple fruit sauce is learning to cut a mango. Try layering the sauce with scoops of strawberry ice cream in a champagne flute for an elegant ice cream dessert.

| 2 mangos, diced | 1/4 cup water | |
| 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar | 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice |
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the mango, brown sugar and water. Cook, stirring often, until the fruit has softened and the liquid has thickened slightly.
Transfer mixture to a blender and puree until smooth. Add the lime juice and pulse until combined. Let cool, then spoon over ice cream.
