It's time to Roc and Ro! Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon haven't been shy about gushing about how much they love 6-month-old twins Moroccan and Monroe (nicknamed Roc and Ro, respectively) -- but now they're ready to formally introduce them to the world. In a new 20/20 special (airing Friday night at 10 p.m. ET on ABC), the happily married couple invite host Barbara Walters into their home to meet the twins, take a tour of the babies' super-luxurious nursery and chat about their life as a budding family. In what promises to be an extremely candid interview, Mariah, 41, and Nick, 31, open up about their problems conceiving, whether more kids are in the cards and why Nick is "the best guy in the world"... sometimes.
"When he's nice, he's the best guy in the world," Carey says of her hubby. She quickly adds, laughing: "You know, he's a man, Barbara. Let's call it what it is."
Cannon, however, assures Carey that she can "absolutely" trust him all the time -- and seems completely enamored of his wife while showing off the "Moroccan room" in their apartment, where he proposed. Not surprisingly, Mariah goes on to say that she's "happy to be in love."
It's a good thing, too, because the couple's road to a family wasn't an easy one. Carey, who has previously admitted to suffering a miscarriage two years ago, tells Walters that she underwent fertility treatments to conceive -- and admits she wasn't fully prepared for the experience of being pregnant.
"I don't think I understood the enormity or the magnitude of what it really does to your body," she confesses. "Like it's not just, oh you don't look pretty and you have a bump." True that.
