Marie Osmond was rushed to the hospital Wednesday night after her regular show with brother Donny Osmond at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
According to E! News, Marie knew something was terribly wrong when she couldn't sing at some point during her musical revue, in which she and Donny alternate singing together and performing solos. The 52-year-old entertainer realized she needed medical attention, so she was whisked off to the emergency room after what must've been a tense show.
Osmond spent a few hours at the E.R. of St. Rose Dominican Hospital Sienna Campus getting X-rays and a series of tests to evaluate the problem, her rep Greg Sperry told the Las Vegas Sun.
In the end, she was diagnosed with a severe case of bronchitis and told the show can go on! No scheduled performances were canceled, Sperry said, but a few numbers and solos may be shortened or cut to allow Marie's voice to rest.
And if anyone can help Marie through a variety show, it's Donny, who's been singing and dancing (they are both Dancing with the Stars veterans) professionally with his sister for more than three decades.
