Marie Osmond's Son Laid to Rest

A funeral service is being held today in Provo, Utah, for entertainer Marie Osmond's 18-year-old son Michael Bryan, who died in an apparent suicide on Feb. 26 in Los Angeles. Osmond's publicist confirmed that Bryan's service "will be held in a chapel near the Provo temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints," according to the Huffington Post.

Not long before his tragic death, Osmond's son legally changed his last name from Blosil (his adoptive father's name) to Bryan. All seven of his siblings will speak during today's service, Entertainment Tonight reports. Bryan -- who had been treated in a rehab program for undisclosed reasons during his adolescence -- reportedly left a note before his sudden death. The teen was a first-year student at L.A.'s Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, and was studying apparel manufacturing.

Osmond, 50, along with her brother Donny Osmond, 52, is scheduled to resume performances of their live Las Vegas show at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino on March 9, according to People.
