The Onesie Quilt

It’s time to replace your kid’s worn-out binkie with this awesome keepsake quilt. Baby grows so fast, and soon enough you’ll have boxes full of sweet potato puree-stained onesies and baby clothing your kid can no longer fit into. It’s also another way to remember all the outfits from your baby’s first year. (Wee Wonderfuls)

What you’ll need:
old onesies; scissors; and a sewing machine.

Directions: Cut 4 ½-inch squares from your baby’s old onesies and outfits -- avoiding any stains or rips -- and try to keep little details like designs, pockets and ruffles when you can. Sew the squares together, 13 rows of 13 squares, letting them overlap by a ½-inch. Repeat for both the front and back of the blanket.
