Shock & Aww! You Tube's Most Awesome Marriage Proposals

As if proposing wasn't nerve-wracking enough, check out these incredible proposals that lovebirds all over the world have executed in order to earn a "YES!" Of course, it's not enough to have an amazing proposal these days. You have to put it on You Tube for the world to see. And according to us, these following proposals are among the best of the best.

The Time-Stopping Proposal

We’ve all felt it — that kind of love where time stands still and nothing going on in the world around the two of you matters. Well this guy wanted to create that same feeling for his proposal and goes as far as to set up an entire room of actors and hidden cameras to capture one of the most unique proposals out there on the Internet today.

Isaac’s Live Lip-Dub Proposal

Probably one of the most iconic proposals on You Tube today, this amazing gem took proposing to a whole new level — even surpassing the trend of the flash mob. The groom-to-be parked his lovely lady in the back of a car facing outward as she watched their closest friends and family perform an adorable love song. Who could say no to something as well thought out as this? You’ve got to watch it to believe it.

The Mariah Carey Proposal

Mariah Carey invites two fans, an adorable gay couple, to join her onstage and lets one take the microphone for a moment. Apparently, awhile back, the couple made a deal that if one could ever get his boyfriend to meet Mariah Carey, he would propose. Looks like that day finally came for these two!

The Graffiti Proposal

If singing or dancing or — let’s face it — words aren’t really a guy’s things, it’s easy to get intimidated about popping the question. But not for this guy. He used his incredible graffiti skills to ask his bride-to-be for her hand in marriage. He even spray-painted a check box for “Yes” or “No.” Watch to see which box she selected sprays her check mark in.

The Double Proposal

Nothing will melt your heart quite like this adorable video. This innovative gent hires professional sand castle sculptors to make a beautiful display on the beach so that he can not only propose to his girlfriend, but also to her two-year old daughter. His question? “Will you be my Queen and Princess?”

The Unconventional Disney Proposal

Originally, this man had hoped to take his lovely lady to Disney World to ask the big question. But when that didn’t work out, he brought Disney World to her with the help of family and friends, who transformed an ordinary backyard and donned character costumes to lead her to her very own Prince Charming. She even got a makeover to look like Belle. How is that not awesome?

The Boy Band Proposal

At a family function, this Australian proposes to his American girlfriend with a video confessing a secret about his true identity — he’s in a boy band (not really, of course). And so he debuts a music video he wrote just for her. Not only is the video’s song incredibly awesome and hysterical, but there’s a special message at the end for her. The best part? You can actually purchase the song on iTunes to help pay for their wedding.

The Flash Mob Proposal

It’s a normal shopping day at this mall during the holiday season when all-girl flash mob begins. The ladies are dressed as elves as they dance to Katy Perry’s “Firework,” until at the very end, when the music changes and a guy joins the ranks. Watch him dance as he proposes to his boyfriend with a Bruno Mars song.

The Thanksgiving Proposal

Simplicity at its best. Sometimes all the bells and whistles that guys today pull out for the big proposal aren’t really necessary to make it creative, surprising and heartfelt. This guy sneaks his proposal in during one of her family’s traditions before Thanksgiving dinner. Watch how he even gets a family member in on it to set the scene before he gets his turn to pop the question.
