Okay, not really, but Michelle Tanner is returning to TV! Or, half of her is, anyway. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mary-Kate Olsen is taking her bag-lady look to Showtime's Weeds.
Mary-Kate is lined up to play a Christian devotee named Tara who hooks up with Nancy's (Mary-Louise Parker) son Silas (Hunter Parrish) in 10 episodes this season. No word yet on whether she tokes up on-camera.
Do you think Mary-Kate has the acting chops for the role? I'm sorta psyched to see her doing something besides wear bad clothing, go to yoga and drink Starbucks. Besides, I'm a child of the '80s, I can't help but love me some Full House nostalgia.
P.S. On a vaguely related topic, has anyone else noticed that Stephen Colbert looks an awful lot like Bob Saget (Danny Tanner)? I was watching the Colbert Report tonight and kept noticing the similarities.
