Ever since Tiger Woods proved unworthy of our love, the game of golf hasn't been the same. Fortunately, Australian golfer Adam Scott has stepped up to the tee and stolen our hearts. Not only is Scott, 32, the winner of the 2013 Masters tournament, he's also one of the world's most eligible bachelors. So naturally, the producers of The Bachelor are setting their sights on him!
"So......Adam Scott as the next #Bachelor??" producer Robert Mills tweeted on Sunday. "What say you, #Bachelornation?"
Speaking on behalf of the Bachelor Nation, we say, "Yes, make this happen!" Here are 5 good reasons why Scott is a perfect contender for ABC's dating competition.
It's about time we had a celebrity Bachelor.
We got our hopes up when Ryan Lochte was considering the gig last year, but in 17 seasons, a celebrity has yet to preside over the rose ceremony. Did the success of Rock of Love with Bret Michaels teach us nothing?
Australians are so hot right now.
The land down under gave us Hugh Jackman and Guy Pearce, and now Liam and Chris Hemsworth are leading the new generation of Aussie heartthrobs. What's good for Miley Cyrus is good for America!
The bachelorettes would have to up their game.
If the ladies were competing for a famous guy, it wouldn't be enough to look cute and talk about loving dogs. They'd have to do their homework! And watching those ladies try to talk about golf would be pretty entertaining.
Maybe Adam would do this at the end of every elimination.
And finally, just look at that face.
Here's a video of Adam Scott talking about something. Golf, we think? Possibly politics? Every time we try to pay attention, we just get lost in his eyes...
