Lost star Matthew Fox had his second tangle with the law in less than a year, when he was arrested on Friday for suspicion of driving under the influence.
TMZ reports that Fox, 45, was arrested around 3 a.m. while driving in Oregon. He was reportedly headed to a fast-food restaurant at the time, and had a passenger in the car. According to TMZ, alcohol was involved in the arrest. The actor was taken into custody and released later that same day.
Last August, Fox was detained by police when he was accused of punching a female bus driver in an effort to get onto a party bus. That incident also took place in the early hours of the morning, and was classified by police as "alcohol-related." (The bus driver claimed the actor was extremely drunk at the time of the alleged assault.) While Fox wasn't charged with a crime, he's facing a civil lawsuit from the bus driver, and has filed a counter-suit accusing her of slander.
Fox, who first rose to fame on Party of Five, lives in Bend, Ore., with his wife Margherita Ronchi and their two children, Kyle and Byron. The couple has been together for 20 years, although they weathered cheating rumors during the height of Fox's Lost fame.
