Matthew McConaughey is ready to kick back in his home state of Texas full time. The Lincoln Lawyer star and his fiancee Camila Alves have relocated from Malibu to Austin.
According to Us Weekly, McConaughey, who proposed to the mother of his two children (Levi, 3, and Vida, 2) last Christmas, has settled his family of four into a $4 million estate complete with nine acres and seven bedrooms located about 20 minutes outside downtown Austin.
"They love the lifestyle there," their source explains. "Matthew walks around town in a cowboy hat saying 'Howdy!' to everyone."
The native Texan, 42, has deep roots in Austin, where he graduated from the University of Texas in 1993. A dedicated alumnus of the university, he's an avid Longhorns fan who often pops up at major football games. Now it seems like he's planning to "Just keep livin'" there rather than his surf-side home in California.
Quite the family man, McConaughey has gone on record gushing about his life with Alves, 30, and their babes.
"I always wanted to be a father," he said. "It just took the right woman and the right time to make it happen."
McConaughey and Alves, 30, have yet to announce any wedding plans.
