Matthew McConaughey isn't the fancy Hollywood type, and he doesn't expect his wife to be, either. Brazilian model Camila Alves McConaughey, who married the actor this June, says that Matthew prefers that she go without makeup -- and even tried to get her to ditch the lipstick on their wedding day!
"He likes as simple as possible. Less makeup, less everything," Camila, 29, told People. "I remember for the wedding he was like, 'Don’t put any makeup on,' and I was like, 'It’s our wedding, [I'm going to] want to put makeup on!'"
In the end, Camila opted for natural-looking make-up for her Texas wedding, which included special roles for the couple's children Levi, 4, and Vida, 2.
"Levi brought the rings on a necklace, and Vida was the flower girl. I don't think she dropped one petal," Matthew said in an interview earlier this year. "It was only like 25 yards. I think it took them two minutes to make it this far. They stopped talked to some people, and then I crouched down and they came running."
Camila is now pregnant with the couple's third child, as she discovered shortly after signing on to be face of Macy's I.N.C. Concepts this spring.
"I was over the moon, but my first reaction was that it was going to be a deal-breaker for the campaign -- that they wouldn’t want a pregnant mom -- but we worked it out," she told People in July.
Now it's just a question of dealing with the hormonal roller-coaster of pregnant emotions. "Anything you can feel in a pregnancy, I’m feeling in this one. So put it all in the pile, that’s how I’m feeling," Camila says. But generally, she and Matthew seem very happy. And who needs make-up when you've got that pregnancy glow?
