So you all know I'm slightly McDreamy obsessed... but so are a lot of other people so I think I'm okay. But I thought I'd give you a little Patirick Dempsey fix as we embark on this big, bad summer without our favorite doctor.
So what's the good doc up to? Making a movie in NYC. Perhaps his first big one since Sweet Home Alabama. (Can you believe Reese picked Josh Lucas over Patrick Dempsey in that flick? Silly girl!) He's making a Disney flick called Enchanted with Amy Adams -- you know, the Oscar nominee who worked at Hooters.
Just Jared has the scoop on the flick:
"Amy Adams is playing this princess in a real fairytale world. It starts out with eight minutes of animation, like a spoof on Disney, and she plays this princess, and James Marsden is the prince. They fall in love in one day, they sing a song where they find each other, and the birds sew her dress. Susan Sarandon is the queen and hates her, and she pushes her down a well so that she won’t marry her son. So, she falls in a well and ends up in a manhole in New York City. And then it’s a real life, New York City romantic comedy. She meets Patrick Dempsey who is a cool single dad with a little daughter, and he falls in love with her."
Disney or not, I'm so gonna see that. I love me some Patrick Dempsey.
