Carl is a physical therapist and a partner/director of Elite Athlete Training and City Sports and Physiotherapy Clinics in Vancouver, B.C. His passions lay in preventing sports injuries, which is how he became associated with Dr. Karen Nordahl. They collectively developed the Fit to Deliver prenatal fitness program, which would educate and instruct women about the benefits of a structured fitness and exercise program that helps improve activities of daily living and reduce problems associated with pregnancy.
As an accomplished fitness coach, deeply involved in the amateur sports community, Carl was named Ski Canada's Best of the Best Knee Physiotherapist in 1998. He has been a member of Canada's Olympic medical team as a dedicated physiotherapist (alpine skiing) in Calgary in 1988, Albertville in 1992 and Lillehammer in 1994. His coaching efforts have helped numerous athletes achieve gold, silver and bronze medals in Olympic, world championship and World Cup alpine ski events.
Carl is also a well-published author in a variety of professional and lay journals and national daily publications on all aspects of health, fitness, physical therapy and sports medicine.
