Hometown: Chapel Hill, TN
Occupation: Comfort consultant
Favorite cheat food: Cheesecake
Goal for 2010: To be 150 lbs
Starting weight: 257
NSD: What was your big turning point-either during the show or before that made you realize you needed to lose the weight?
I was sitting on a beach in Mexico in January and told my boss I needed to get on the show to lose the weight and he said I would be great on the show. I went and tried out in February and here I am now on the show and doing great.
NSD: What is one thing you wish you had known before going on The Biggest Loser?
I thought you worked out for an hour and got a break, little did I know you work out four hours and then get a break.
NSD: If you could have done one thing differently during the show, what would it be?
Nothing, I feel I came to the gym and gave 100 percent every day.
NSD: What was the hardest thing to adapt to while being on the ranch?
I think missing home; I missed sleeping in my own bed and having access to whatever I wanted at anytime. On the ranch, you don't have phones, internet,TV, mail, etc.
NSD: What is one thing that keeps you motivated?
$250,000 is keeping me motivated. So far, I have not seen a piece of cheesecake worth that yet!
NSD: What is your favorite workout?
Run-downs on the treadmill
NSD: What's the best advice Bob or Jillian has given you?
Finish what you start and keep focused.
NSD: What is your favorite meal or snack?
Coconut or Lemon LARABAR
NSD: What happens behind the scenes of the show that no one would know from watching it?
It is ten times harder than you see on TV, but we also have a lot of fun that doesn't make TV.
We would walk and have long conversations, get to know each other, watch movies, play cards, cook, swim, and just hang out.
Watch The Biggest Loser on Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
