Meet Shot Put Olympian Michelle Carter!

With so much attention on sports such as swimming and gymnastics, I jumped at the chance to interview 26-year-old Michelle Carter, who is making her second Olympic appearance in the track and field sport of shot put. While getting a "patriotic pedicure," Carter told me her dad is believed to be the only person to ever win a Super Bowl ring and an Olympic medal in the same year. Michael Carter played for the San Francisco 49ers and won the silver in shot put in the 1984 Olympics. Good luck, Michelle!
