News We Feel Weird About -- Siri is an Actual Person

Seriously, look at her! She's just gabbing away in her Siri voice

To be honest, we always kind of thought voice-of-the-iPhone Siri was a completely computer generated voice. Consider our minds blown when we saw this video a few weeks ago about the science of creating "voices" for machines and technology that ever-so-casually outs Siri. Or did it?

Today CNN revealed the true voice of Siri, Atlanta-based voice actor Susan Bennett. Susan, who began her career as the voice of Tillie The All Time Teller (the first bank ATM machine), had no idea she would become Siri when she recorded the voice eight years ago. Watch her story here:
