Move over, Felix and Oscar, there's a brand-new odd couple in town! Meghan McCain, daughter of former presidential candidate John McCain, began an unlikely friendship Tuesday. McCain, 25, tweeted, "I forgot how much I love Courtney Love until I watched her Vh1 Behind The Music, I totally used to put sparkles in my hair like her circa '98."
The shout-out clearly delighted the rock star, who tweeted back, "@McCainBlogette xoxoxoxo." McCain soon responded, "I love twitter! :-) Big fan Courtney, your Celebrity Skin album was the soundtrack to my teenage years! xoxoxo."
Love, 45, kept up the back-and-forth praise with "I love her @McCainBlogette rocks! xoxoxo" as McCain reiterated once again just how much Love's music (she founded iconic '90s rock band Hole) meant to her, tweeting back, "@CourtneyLoveUK You are truly a rock an roll icon. Your music really has meant a lot to me, especially growing up! Xoxo."
