Mel Gibson had to earn his plug to promote his new movie Edge of Darkness (in theaters Jan. 29) on Tuesday's The Jay Leno Show by putting into action his claim that he could change a baby's diaper in 30 seconds or less. The results were impressive! (See a clip.)
But the father of eight admits that girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva does "the lion's share of the work" for their new baby daughter Lucia, who was born on Oct. 30. His contribution? He "supports her."
So, what's Mel's secret to surviving a new baby in the house? "Earplugs," says the actor.
