Mel Gibson's Wife Files for Divorce!
This may sound mean, but I can't believe it took her this long.
Mel Gibson's wife, Robyn Gibson, has filed for divorce from the actor after 28 years of marriage. She has cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason.
According to TMZ.com there is no prenuptial agreement. Ka-ching!
As for their kids, of which they have seven, only one is a minor. In Robyn's legal papers, she seeks joint physical and legal custody of Tom, 10. She is also asking for spousal support and attorneys fees.
So what caused the split, other than Mel just being an idiot? Well, sources say that they've been growing apart over the last few years, especially since Mel's drunk driving arrest in 2006. There were also rumors that the actor was involved with another woman, which he, of course, denies.
So, there you have it. Another Hollywood marriage bites the dust.
