Men Get an Emotional Connection From Sex

“Typically, men desire sex in order to achieve emotional closeness. Men are not taught to believe that sex should only happen in the confines of a loving relationship, which means an emotional connection does not need to occur first,” says Orbuch. For men, connecting with a woman physically connects him with her emotionally, says Karim. It's primal: He conquers her first and then he thinks about protecting her.
