We know we reported that rapper M.I.A. chose Ickett as her son's name, but TMZ.com has gotten a scan of the kid's birth certificate (do they have everyone on their payroll?) and we were clearly mistaken.
"My baby is not called Ickitt, Pickit or Lickit, thank you very much!" the singer wrote on her MySpace blog, after the reports of the wrong name hit the web. "I didn't release the baby name because I didn't think it was news. ... Go pick on Apple, Satchel and Moon Unit!"
Right. Of course. Because we should be ashamed of ourselves for getting so confused between Ickett and Ikyd.
