Mia Michaels Returning to 'SYTYCD'

Mia Michaels Returning to 'SYTYCD'

Mia Michaels may have vacated her permanent spot on Fox's So You Think You Can Dance, but that doesn't mean she's done with the show for good.

TVGuide.com reports that the Emmy award-winning choreographer joined SYTYCD pals Nigel Lythgoe and Adam Shankman as a judge for the show's season 7 auditions in New York.

Michaels, 43, left the reality competition after last season, citing "other opportunities to take my art to the next level," as her reason -- but she never ruled out returning for guest stints. "[Nigel and I] have a great relationship and if it's meant to be, it'll be," she told TVGuide.com in November. "But right now, I'm focusing on my brand, exploring my new shows and a few other things."

The new season of So You Think You Can Dance airs this summer.
