The King of Pop Marries The King's Daughter

Much of Jackson's support during the molestation charges came from his friend Elizabeth Taylor and pal Lisa Marie Presley, who he had first met as a child. In fact, Taylor and Presley helped manage Jackson's legal defense during the drama—particularly when his health began to deteriorate from the stress and drug addictions—and advised him to settle with the accuser's family to avoid further toll on his health. Jackson and Presley's friendship reportedly grew into something more, and the two married in May 1994.
