And Then Came "Thriller"

Arguably the most memorable video of all time, the 14-minute mini-movie that accompanied the release of "Thriller" was the perfect showcase of Jackson's trademark dance moves, which, along with his leather jackets, short pants and one glove, had become a trend that every cool kid tried to copy. The video, which immediately became so popular that MTV aired it twice an hour, continues to be influential, even inspiring a copycat video from a group of prisoners in the Philippines.
