Now that Michael Sheen and Rachel McAdams have publicly appeared as a couple at the Cannes Film Festival, the adorable twosome has decided that they might as well own up to their relationship in the press.
"Yeah, we are together," the 42-year-old actor told People.com Tuesday at the Cinema Society & Thierry Mugler screening of their new movie Midnight in Paris in New York.
It's been pretty clear that these two are an item for several months now -- and they've even been snapped making out by the paparazzi. But they officially "came out" while promoting their film in Cannes last week, holding hands on the red carpet.
"I don't think it was planned one way or the other," McAdams, 34, said Tuesday of their decision to go public with the romance.
But now that the cat's out of the bag, Sheen (who plays vampire Aro in the Twilight films) just can't keep his excitement about his girlfriend under wraps. "She's talented, intelligent, beautiful," the actor says. "She's warm and friendly. She's very supportive, and very kind, very funny. She makes me laugh a lot."
